If you are in charge of decorating a room or hall for a christening party then one of the nicest things you can do is decorate with your homemade decorations. When you make your own decorations you ensure that the party hall/room looks different and unique. Almost anyone can go out and buy party decorations but these are often generic and don't say much about the event. When you choose to make your own you can put your own spin on things and ensure that they are perfectly tailored to the event at hand - which can help to make the whole thing as perfect as possible.
The good news is that when you look up different christening party decorations you can make there are loads of ideas. This is great because it means that whatever type of event you need to make decorations for there will be something to perfectly suit you and your needs. It is important that you get it right to suit the event, so the fact that there is so many choices is perfect!
One great idea that can be used for all sorts of parties and events if as DIY Cupcake Paper Garland. When you make a paper garland you get to choose the style, the colours and even how big you make it - which means that it is ideal for any party. By being able to make something that suits your event you help to ensure that the garland you make compliments the rest of the room decor. A cupcake garland is a really fun way of adding a bit of colour to your decor and these can be hung almost anywhere - especially around the cake and/or food tables. What's even better is that making a DIY Cupcake Paper Garland is easy!
How To Make A DIY Cupcake Paper Garland
- Cupcake liners (in a colour to suit your party scheme)
- Yarn (preferably white)
- A sharp object (a knitting need, bamboo skewer etc)
You will need to take your sharp object and poke a hole into the middle of each of your cupcakes liner. You should be able to do a few of these at a time, although do not attempt to do too many otherwise you'll find it much to hard work.
When they all have holes in you should start to thread your yarn through each of the cupcake liners. Try to think about how you want them displayed, what pattern you want them in and even pay attention to which way they face.
Carry on doing this until you have the right length of garland to suit you and your needs.

You can use more than one liner at a time if you want them to appear thicker or have more chance of them keeping their shape.
Cupcake liners come in all shapes and sizes, so shop around and make sure you find something that suits your needs, colour scheme and/or christening party theme.
